Wireless  Distribution System Access Point (WDS AP) Mode

WDS AP mode is similar to AP mode the different is in this mode WDS AP allows multiple access points to communication without the need for a wired backbone to link them. The advantage of WDS over other solutions is it preserves the MAC addresses of client frames across links between access points However, this mode limited to one hop only.
